Golden Eaglets head coach, Manu Garba, is upbeat his team will beat host Niger in Wednesday’s semi-final clash at the WAFU B 2019 U-17 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying tournament, reports Completesportsnigeria. com.

The Golden Eaglets started the competition on a poor note, losing 3-2 against Burkina Faso but defeated Coted’lvoire 5-1 in their second game to finish top of Group B.

Niger recorded two draws against Togo and Ghana to finish second in Group A

” My team have improved after the loss to Burkina Faso, they are ready for tomorrow’s game, ” Garba told reporters in Niamey on Tuesday.

The Black Starlets of Ghana will take on Cote d’lvoire in the second semi-final at the Seyni Koutnche Stadium, Niamey also on Wednesday.

The winners of the competition will progress to the 2019 U-17 Africa Cup of Nations in Tanzania.
